President

Tracy Peterkin is the President and Owner of TJ & Associates. She brings over 25 years of Human Resource Management experience in manufacturing and consulting organizations. Tracy graduated from Purdue University in 1986 with a degree in Organizational Leadership/Supervision. Prior to joining TJ & Associates in 2003 as an HR Consultant, she worked for The Quaker Oats Company and Solvay Chemicals (formerly Solvay Interox).

Tracy has been certified through the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2003. She achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation in 2015. Areas of strength include HR consulting, recruiting, training and employee relations. Tracy is a member of the Nonprofit Network of SW WA, the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and 100 Women Who Care- SW WA. She was on the Board of the Southwest Washington Society for Human Resource Management for four years.

Emily Jackson has 20 years of experience in a broad range of HR disciplines. Emily has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a specialization in Human Resources from Central Washington University, as well as designations as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Emily began her career in a generalist capacity at a small aerospace manufacturing company in the Puget Sound area. Following layoffs in the aerospace industry, Emily was hired by an insurance and financial services business to start their HR department. When Emily’s family relocated to southwest Washington, she turned to specializing in Health and Welfare Benefits in the corporate office of a self-insured manufacturing corporation. Desiring to return to a generalist role, Emily left to manage the HR department in a unionized manufacturing plant. Now, Emily is offering her talents as a consultant with the TJ & Associates team.

Steve Weinberg

Steve Weinberg

HR Consultant

Steve Weinberg has more than 20 years of experience leading human resources in a broad range of companies across a number of industries. Formerly Corporate Director of Human Resources at Glumac (an eco-engineering firm) and Chief HR Officer with Elephants Delicatessen, he specializes in providing scalable HR, recruiting and training services. Steve led teams and consulted in a variety of HR areas including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, benefits and training.

Dr. Weinberg has a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Berkeley. He is a past board member of Southwest Washington SHRM and has been a member of the American Society for Training and Development. Steve and his family are long-time residents of Camas, WA.
